Collective speech: Schrodinger's Library, on some CoVers
from: g.u.i. collective - 2012
Here is the invention of a real book with both written and unwritten content. An empty box that could contain a cat. We produce an author as we produce a book.
A blank book but not a white book. It has coverage, weight, volume, materials and techniques. It has a title but the pages will remain empty of text and images. A book in projections, to open, to manipulate and to speculate collectively. A book that contains as much content as it reads.
The purpose of the books in the Schrödinger Library is to open up to the public through presentations and discussions. We open the box-book to invent its contents, based on its outlines, its clues.

PREPARATION - an editing group choose the books to be opened among the CoVers. They give some info about :

For the session, we’ll pick up some covers of the CoVers from the Confederacy of Villages and we’ll try to open then a bit.
Usually, a person open the book in front of the public. They can choose to know it before or not. They can prepare the session or not. They can be one or many. They can ask questions to the public. They can set themselves as a reader.
We will have spiders for each session here : https://annuel.framapad.org/p/cprc-CoVers
A session last about 20 min.
